Digital-Tutors unveils sneak peek of their upcomming tutorial. This sneak peek gives you first look at the new Rigging Wings in CINEMA 4D tutorial in the Digital-Tutors training pipeline. This tutorial might look a little familiar, as it’s been covered for both Maya and Softimage, but after the demand for it in CINEMA 4D. In the Rigging Wings in CINEMA 4D tutorial, you’ll get an in-depth guide on rigging wings and learn several rigging features in CINEMA 4D that can be transferred to any control rig you create.
The Gnomon School of Visual Effects has announced 14 new interactive online masterclasses hosted by some of the world’s leading VFX and games artists between 5th – 19th. Each 2-hour class focuses on a different element of the visual effects and games industries and each class is offered online in a private forum, allowing you to participate in discussion with the instructor and other students. A single ticket to all 14 masterclasses costs $295 with an early bird discount of $30 for those who register before 14 November. A student discount of $20 is also available; as are group discounts for studios.

Act-3D has launched the new non-commercial version of Lumion with a $10,000 rendering contest. All participants will keep some following simply rules. You have to create a movie on any topic but you have to use any version of Lumion (all are allowed). Afterthat you will send it before 1st November. However, remember that The movie must be 720p MP4 format. The winner will receive USD $10,000, with second place taking home $2,000 and third $1,000. The top three will also obtain a free Lumion 2.0 Ultimate licence.
