roadmap 8) i don't think upgrading from 2600k to an ivy will give you that special boost in performance ;)

Yes, i dont think either there would be some performance boost, but they promises higher memory support, PCI 3.0 support, less power consummation and so on :) I guess the PCI 3.0 support is the biggest advantage here :P

nice! but i would have expected at least a gtx570, money ran out? :P
aah, i see, 2gb vram. do we need lots of vram in 3dsmax? and how much ram have you bought?

Hi wergor,

i edited the post because before i forget to past the rest of the PC  :o The kit is 4x4 GB RAM, so 16 GB ,, nice nice nice :D,,, the GPU is used in Max in the view, especialy by nitrous driver and realistic option turned on at the view. In the render CPU and RAM is used, that means more cores more power :P

So, my experience with the machine. Its fast, its great,, i love it :D The only problem is that the case dont fit into my desk :P. The 3DsMax experience is much more faster also the video processing is great!
