CGarchitect.com is hosting the 9th annual Architectural 3D Awards. The competition is open to everyone in the Architectural Visualization industry to highlight the best imagery, animations and real-time projects done in 2011/2012. This year's awards will be divided into five categories: Image (Commissioned), Image (Non-Commissioned), and Film/Animation (Commissioned), Film/Animation (Non-Commissioned) and Real-Time. From the submitted entries a panel of expert judges will select the top five nominees in each category. The winner of each category will be awarded the exclusive CGarchitect.com 3D AWARDS trophy during the Mundos Digitales Conference.
Prizes are in worth of $50.000 sponsored by Autodesk, Maxwell Render, Maxon, e-on software and others.
Deadline for entry is 19th May and nominees will be announced 1st June. The winners will be awarded at the exclusive awards trophy at Mundos Digitales Conference 2012 in La Coruna, Spain 6 days later.
