Luxion released update of their photorealistic renderer. KeyShot version 3.0.96 contains many improvements focused to increase render performance and Maya Importer. At this while is Maya Importer in BETA and according to KeyShot blog they are waiting for users’ feedback how it works. Importer works with version 2011 or 2012. With latest release were added into this render engine a manipulation tool for labels and ability to position textures and labels interactively. 

One year from announcing and releasing the first version of Lumion render software, Act-3D released the long awaited Lumion 2.0. Lumion is a real-time 3D visualization tool for architects, urban planners and designers.. The new version brings architecture visualization to the next level with numerous of drastic improvements, from the addition of indoor lighting to new post processor effects and content. One of the new changes in Lumion 2.0 is the new importer which was extended supporting now AutoDesk® DWG and DXF file formats.

Only some weeks ago we wrote about availability of Arion 1.5.1 and now RandomControl released new version. Arion 1.6.0 brings many improvements. With this version can now render an unlimited number of objects, materials and textures and that is one of biggest advantages of this render. Unlimited objects in Arion 1.6.0 opens the doors of massive physics simulations, crowds, vegetation and can now use as many materials as you want in your scene. Arion 1.6.0 has absolutely no limit in terms of number of textures or their size. The only limit here is the available memory to render. 

All V-Ray fans can apply for the Beta Program for version 1.5 starting 20 December. Now Rhino users can benefit from many new features and improvements including V-Ray RT - a revolutionary new rendering engine that provides instant feedback and streamlines scene setup or  Dome Light, which provides a simple, artifact-free solution for creating image based lighting or Proxy objects, a tool for managing scene memory and efficiently rendering massive amounts of geometry and many more.
