E-on software famous for their Digital Nature solutions announced the immediately availability of Vue 10 RenderNodes for Linux, the company's first Linux based rendering solution. RenderNodes are standalone network rendering solution able to render any Vue scene including those with content from Cornucopia3D. This solution was requested in the past by animation studios such as Dreamworks Animation, Weta Digital and ILM to have a Linux based Vue RenderNodes.

Substance Designer is the authoring tool to create substances. This version brings many improvements e.g. possibility to create, edit and delete channels in the layers or that Preferences Panel allowing the user to change application settings. This update promises complete redesign of the layer stack, which now include effects, drag and drop and mask preview and allows that packages can be publish from a new button in package explorer tool bar. Substance Designer is fully compatible with 3ds Max, Maya and Unity. This release also fixes some bugs. 

Lightroom is the essential digital photography workflow solution helping amateur and professional photographers quickly import, manage, enhance and showcase their images. It  is a preview of new features and capabilities that will be offered in the final release of Lightroom 4, expected in early 2012. The beta features refined technology for superior shadow and highlight processing, expanded management capabilities including enhanced DSLR video support and the ability to create beautiful photo books from within Lightroom.
