The Foundry has announced Nuke 7.0 packed with a wide range of new features and substantial improvements and based on feedback from NUKE’s wide user base.

Speed improvements and optimised performance are at the core of the package, with NUKE 7.0 introducing RAM cache, a feature long desired by the community that offers real-time playback of work. Also debuting in this release are a variety of GPU accelerated nodes for the enhanced NUKEX package, including MotionBlur, Kronos, Denoise, VectorGenerator, Convolve and ZDefocus. This fundamental change promises that users will be able to utilise the power of their GPUs to speed up interactive image processing times.
