Win with Grinch prizes for 5000$ - page 2

Rules and requirements:

 

 1. To enter the competition you have to register on our forum and under (3D-Sphere/Grinch Competition) create a new topic with the codename „Grinch“ and your name in format: Grinch-(name). The final artwork can be everything what you can imagine, from an object to a starship or a person. The Grinch character does not have to be on the final artwork! So if want to have Megan Fox for christmas, create her. If you want to have Ferrari, try how good you are. It is up to you.

  • You can access the forum using the link located in the top menu or using the link from left menu
  • The registration is free and take just a minute

 2. After creating a new topic for the contest the participant have to write few sentences about the work and about software he want to use by making his CG  artwork. Simply: make an introduction to your artwork and tell to everyone, why you choose just this. Maybe someone fulfill your dream after reading your words. :)

  • Your idea can change during the time (but if you change your idea, rewrite your introduction)
  • You can use any 3D Application

 3. To be able to fulfill the requirements for the competition and be included into the voting for prizes you have to follow few rules listed below:

  • You have to create a new topic at our forum
  • You have to show the progress of your modeling at your topic at our forums
  • You cannot use your old model
  • The scene or models have to be created in a 3D application of your choice
  • You have to create at least 50% of the final image in 3D
  • You can use Photoshop or any other photo editing program for post-production of your image or for creating a part of your artwork but at most for 50%
  • You have to write what software you used to complete your artwork
  • You have to post your final artwork with a clay render of your scene with resolution at least: 1024x568
  • You have to post your final artwork with a clay render of your scene within:  12/12/2011; 00:00 GMT

 4. Jury will choose the winners and judging will based upon following four criteria: Idea, Modeling, Material and Rendering & Lighting. The jury is listed below.

 5. You will be informed about all steps how to take your prizes after the end of the competition
