The Foundry announced the availability of MARI 1.4v4, including a number of important fixes and enhancements. MARI is a 3D digital painting tool designed from the ground up to meet the needs of the most demanding VFX texture and matte painting artists. Moreover from the version 1.4 the developers implemented in to MARI Adobe® Photoshop® layered PSD import and export functionality. In this release are no new features but some were enhancement – „In the Lights palette, there is now an icon to move the currently selected light to the current camera position.“.

Vue xStream and as well Vue Infinite can be easily integrated into any production pipeline due the cutting edge features contained inside. Vue Infinite operates as a standalone application while Vue xStream works seamlessly inside 3ds Max, Maya, Softimage, LightWave and Cinema4D. Both offer a high-end 3D scenery solution for SFX studios, animators, illustrators, architects, matte painters and CG professionals.

A subscription-based offering, Adobe Creative Cloud is a hub for making, sharing and delivering creative work and it is centered around a powerful release of Adobe Creative Suite® 6 software, packed with innovation across its industry-defining design, Web, video and digital imaging tools. The CS6 product line includes new releases of Photoshop®, InDesign®, Illustrator®, Dreamweaver®, Adobe Premiere® Pro, After Effects®, Flash® Professional and other products.
Luxology released first service pack for 3d modeling software modo. This SP is focused on fixing bugs but it brings also some improvements and some enhancements. Probably the most significant change is that modo 601 ads support for 3Dconnexion input devices. modo 601 now also offers certified support for the full range of 3Dconnexion’s 3D mice. 3Dconnexion input devices are already compatible with 3ds Max, Maya, Blender and Cinema 4D, as well as Photoshop and a range of CAD packages.
