Animago is one of the most known international contest around 3D, visual effects & interactive. The animago AWARD has been honouring the best productions in the fields of 3D, visual effects and interactive media in a total of 11 categories since 1997. 3D industry leading companies support many categories in this competition. 

This competition is for everyone such as design professional such as student design. All designers can join to one of three following categories: Rendering with Cinema 4D, Animation with Cinema 4D or Rendering with Renderworks 2011. The winner in each category will receive a $2,500 USD Visa gift card. Multiple submissions are allowed, but note that all submissions must be done in the newest versions of software, and all CINEMA 4D renderings and animations must be built on a Vectorworks model.

ChaosGroup started the Phoenix Beta program which will run for approximately 2 months starting on July 15th 2011. Phoenix FD is a plugin for Autodesk 3DsMax for simulating fluids, splashes and foam with enhanced GPU preview. The new version comes with several improvements, new features and bug fixes. All users of V-Ray and Phoenix FD for 3DsMax can obtain their license for Phoenix FD 2.0 and join the Beta program by contacting ChaosGroup support.
