The Gnomon Workshop announces the release of 3D Design for Production, the second tutorial from award-winning 3D Artist, Vitaly Bulgarov, which is currently working at Blizzard Entertainment as a Cinematic Artist. Vitaly demonstrates his design process, utilizing a 3D tool-set which includes ZBrush® and XSI®. Also he shows us a unique look at some of his tricks, as well as some of his surfacing secrets that give his pieces the high-precision and realistic look.

Freelance computer graphics (CG) artist Jeff Patton used a combination of the high-powerful rendering engine NVidia iray, power of NVidia Quadro and Tesla technology to make a visualization project for Merced Benz. Jeff Patton is an experienced 3D artist who created many of mechanical visualization for major companies; he is also recognized expert in Autodesk 3ds Max 3D software and NVidia mental ray rendering software. When he started the project for Merced Benz he was using 3ds Max software with mental ray and the Chaos Group V-Ray rendering engine. After some time cause the high render time he decided to build a workstation running NVidia technology and used NVidia iray to render his project.
