Digital Tutors new training for July

DigitalTutorsDigital Tutors released recently 15 new trainings for July with a really cool content. The trainings include wide range of software like Zbrush, Photoshop and Maya and covering different kind of topics from illustrating to modeling. Two of them shoot to my mind and i have to mention them here. The first one is called „Creating a Concept Vehicle from a 3D Sketch“ using Photoshop CS5. In the training you will learn how to create a concept of a vehicle using a 3D sketch. The second with i think is very interesting is called „Facial Animation in Maya“.

Terragen 2.3 Free Non-Commercial Edition

Terragen 2.3Planetside the makers of Terragen released a free non-commercial edition of their Terragen 2.3. Terragen is a powerful piece of software made for rendering and animating realistic natural environments and was used in several blockbusters like Sucker Punch.  With the new version also new features and improvements came which we was describing in an article a time ago Terragen 2.3. The free edition is limited, the limitations are reasonable and they don’t limit your imagination.
