Adobe launches Photoshop Touch for iPad 2

Adobe has made its Photoshop Touch application for Apple’s iPad available. The app is richly featured and includes much of what you’d expect from Photoshop: it comes with full layer support, editing features, over 20 filters, and many of the standard selection tools and brushes that make Photoshop so powerful to use. Photoshop Touch also comes with some interesting features such as a built-in Google image search feature, which makes finding images to edit,social network functionality to sharing your artwork and others. Photoshop Touch for iPad 2is available only for 9,99$.

Visual Effects Oscar Goes to Hugo

Last night decided who was successful in competition for Academy Award. In category Best Visual Effects were nominated Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, Real Steel, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Hugo and Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Miarmy 1.2, plugin for Maya, is released

Basefount Technology has released an update for Miarmy, its crowd-simulation system for Maya. This version provides some new features and also changes many parts of system infrastructure.  Miarmy 1.2 integrates Nvidia’s PhysX 3.1 engine, effectively removing the upper limit on the number of actors or physics objects that can be included in a scene. With Mesh Drive Techniques, the character can be interactive display, enable blendshape and render them by arbitrary renderer directly in Maya. Miarmy 1.2 also contains Improved 3Delight Render Plugin and Agent Cache which allows you to create once cache file for all the agents, the cached scene will become real-time including there have clothes. Miarmy Pro 1.2 is available for Maya 2011 and above.
