CINEMA 4D R13 and BodyPaint 3D R13 free update

cinemaMaxon announced the new update for CINEMA 4D. CINEMA 4D R13.058 includes a wide array of improvements and fixes. MAXON is always working to provide CINEMA 4D and BodyPaint 3D users with the best possible products. The free update of Release 13.058, which is available immediately, is a continuation of these efforts. This update is recommended for all R13 users.

This new version brings many enhacements and also fixes many bugs. Changes we can see in Character animation, XRefs,  Renderer, Hair & Dynamics, Viewport and many others.

Adobe Creative Suite 6 Now Available

The CS6 product line includes powerful new releases of Photoshop®, InDesign®, lllustrator®, Dreamweaver®, Adobe Premiere® Pro, After Effects®, Flash® Professional and other products as well as four suite versions – Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium; Creative Suite 6 Design Standard; Creative Suite 6 Production Premium; and Creative Suite 6 Master Collection.

Adobe Creative Cloud is coming in 11st of May.

 

 

GIMP 2.8 is released

This version of GIMP is equipped with a wealth of new features, including some highly requested ones. Keep reading to find out exactly what GIMP 2.8 has to offer you in areas such as the user interface, tools, and plug-ins.

With this version are coming some long-anticipated features such as layer groups, on-canvas text editing, advanced brush dynamics and the much desired optional single-window mode. In this new version developer team also started applying other important changes to the user interface that bring us closer to matching their product vision. Product vision is mentioned as that GIMP is a high-end photo manipulation free application and supports creating original art from images and is easily user-extendable, by ‘one-click’ installation of plug-ins.

3D Creative #81 is out

modelingLast issue of 3D Creative is again full loaded of interesting tutorials. Comparing two different technics by using Maya and 3ds Max continues with new base model, an old man’s head, which is also a cover picture of this month issue. Also this time whole process is axplained by Rodrigue Pralier and Anto Juricic.

In the second part of tutorial series covering FX, Particles and Dynamics, Matt Chandler and Mike Zugschwert move away from creating and animating water and turn their attention to smoke, with Matt working in 3ds Max and Mike in Maya. They don’t only show us how to set up the effects, but also demonstrate how to manipulate them to match an environment or scenario of your choice.

In this „Make it real“ challenge you can win over $100.000 in 3D printing prizes. o enter to this competition you have to submit a Step By Step or Photo Instructable that involves taking a virtual item and making it real in some way in their project (i.e. a 3d printed model, laser cut file, printed piece of paper, etc.). Also, renderings of a finished project are acceptable (such as a 3D models and illustrations). Instructables must be published untill 4th of June 4.
